Last year, I lost one of my best childhood friends to breast cancer.
Jessica and I were ‘birthday neighbors’ that had known each other since we were in middle school living in the same apartment complex.
She was 29 and newly married when she lost her battle.
Jessica never got to see her 30th birthday. She never had the chance to bring life into this world. It wasn’t supposed to be her, and losing her has forever changed the way I look at this disease.

The Tampa Police Department Just Rolled Out PINK Patrol Cars to Raise Support and Awareness for Breast Cancer

How cool is this?!?!
Our very own Tampa Police Department rolled out TWO pink-wrapped patrol cars this week, in an attempt to spread the message – and support – the fight against breast cancer.
They say the cars are part of this year’s ‘Real Men Wear Pink’ challenge.
