If preparing for hurricane season wasn’t already a habit in your house, you definitely learned your lesson after Irma last year, right?

Today (June 1st) kicks off the ‘Hurricane Supplies Sales Tax Holiday’…

What that means is – you can buy certain hurricane supplies in stores or online (between June 1 – June 7) and you will not be charged sales tax…

Some of the items on the list include:

Reusable ice (reusable ice packs)
Portable self-powered light source powered by battery, solar, hand-crank, or gas (includes candles, flashlights and lanterns)
Gas or diesel fuel container (includes LP gas and kerosene containers)
Batteries (AAA-cell, AA-cell, C-cell, D-cell, 6-volt, 9-volt) including rechargeable [More]
