Last year, I lost one of my best childhood friends to breast cancer.
Jessica and I were ‘birthday neighbors’ that had known each other since we were in middle school living in the same apartment complex.
She was 29 and newly married when she lost her battle.
Jessica never got to see her 30th birthday. She never had the chance to bring life into this world. It wasn’t supposed to be her, and losing her has forever changed the way I look at this disease.

With Margarita Fest coming up next weekend, I thought you might like to know that there’s new research out there (IT’S SCIENCE, PEOPLE!!!) that suggests that a shot of tequila might actually be GOOD for your bones.
I also thought you might want to take this quiz about margaritas.
Also, here’s the rest of the article. You know, for ‘research’ purposes. 😉
