I will NEVER forget the moment the power came back on at our house after Hurricane Irma.
We were lucky enough to have family that never lost power (HOW DID THAT EVEN HAPPEN, BTW?!) , so we were sleeping at their house when we got back in town from our ‘Hurricane House’ in Orlando (btw, totally give the terrifying place you’re hiding out from a natural disaster a fun name for your kid’s sake).

The Hillsborough County school board has approved new bell times for school next year.
Here’s what it looks like…
Many parents with younger children aren’t too thrilled with the idea of an earlier start time.
Some high school kids are also upset, saying the new times don’t leave them with much time for work and other after school activities…

On the last day of school, Justin Beadles rolled up to pick up his 15-year-old son…dressed as Michael Phelps.
Yep. Medals, swim cap, SPEEDO. He had it all.
After screaming his name and charging towards him, he gives his son a GIANT half-naked hug and proceeds to escort him to the car line as his mom videotapes the whole thing.
I can only hope I’m this hilarious when my kids get older.
