If preparing for hurricane season wasn’t already a habit in your house, you definitely learned your lesson after Irma last year, right?
Today (June 1st) kicks off the ‘Hurricane Supplies Sales Tax Holiday’…
What that means is – you can buy certain hurricane supplies in stores or online (between June 1 – June 7) and you will not be charged sales tax…
Some of the items on the list include:
Reusable ice (reusable ice packs)
Portable self-powered light source powered by battery, solar, hand-crank, or gas (includes candles, flashlights and lanterns)

Last week, you more than likely stocked up with enough hurricane supplies to survive for weeks (after all, we thought we were getting a direct hit from at LEAST a Category 3 storm)…

So it shouldn’t be too surprising that she popped up inside of a classroom to kickoff her new educational fundraising campaign with Staples.

Teachers are a BIG deal in our house.
They’re the people I trust my most precious tiny humans with while I’m at work. They help them exercise their creativity and mold their little minds. They become family.
So, when Teacher’s Appreciation Week rolls around…we like to let them know how much they mean to us.
